Influence of Anterior Segment Swept-source Optical Coherence Tomographic Profiles in the Temporal Decentration of Orthokeratology Treatment Zone

Purpose: This study aims to elucidate the factors contributing temporal decentration of orthokeratology lens (OK lens) treatment zone, employing profiles obtained from anterior segment swept-source optical coherence tomography (AS SS-OCT).Methods: The measurements prior were taken using AS SS-OCT (Anterion; Heidelberg, Germany) in subjects who had worn OK lenses for at least 2 weeks. collected data encompassed corneal refractive profiles, thickness elevation and aberrations. A comparison was drawn between two groups: (TD) group control (no [ND]) group, based on presence zone.Results: analysis included a total 63 eyes (48 ND 15 TD group) 33 patients (10.6 ± 2.2 y). No significant differences observed axial length, spherical equivalent, horizontal diameter groups. However, exhibited higher values terms SimK<sub>mean</sub> (D), central K nasal 3.0, 2.0, 1.0 mm points. Moreover, displayed meridian vertical ratio (H/V 4.0 diameter) ring. showed distance maximum power (K<sub>max</sub> y) compared group.
